The New Pulsar Generator (nuPG) in California
I'm on my way between Goleta and Los Angeles. I've spent past week coding, playing and talking all things related to pulsar synthesis with Curtis Roads at University of California, Santa Barbara. The feedback and input from Curtis - the original inventor of pulsar synthesis - have pushed my design forward immensely and we are preparing a beta release of the 'nuPG' for the summer. I'll be using some of the newly added features (parameter linkage - ported from Roads' 'Glisson Synthesis' model - and set of per-grain processes) at a workshop and performance in Phoenix next week. LONG LIVE SYNTHESIS!!!
