A performance and lecture at UPIC Symposium at ZKM
next one up, a lecture and performance at Symposium | UPIC – Graphic Interfaces for Notation Conference at ZKM - Zentrum für Kunst und Medien Karlsruhe. I will be talking about the development of the New Pulsar Generator (nuPg), its integration with Xenakian concept of sieves and my continuous wrestling with musical form. Also, on Friday night I am performing a new version of '/siv/' for synthetic voice and computer-generated pluriphonic sound. The piece features a libretto written by Virginia Barratt and Chris Shambaugh.
